New Partner Joins Moore Thompson Team
East of England-based accountancy firm Moore Thompson has welcomed David Turpin to the team as a partner.
David, who joins from one of the leading mid-tier firms, Baker Tilly, will be based at Moore Thompson’s Market Deeping office and will work predominantly with clients in Peterborough and the surrounding area.
He becomes the ninth partner at the firm, which also has offices in Spalding and Wisbech.
David, who was born and educated in Peterborough, began his accountancy career 30 years ago. He has a great deal of experience in working with owner-managed and family businesses of all sizes, and can provide advice on accountancy, audit, strategic planning and general taxation
David said: “Joining Moore Thompson was a great opportunity for me – I was attracted by the client-based ethos of the firm and its local focus, and I really feel like I’m going back to my roots here.
“It’s great to be working in Peterborough again and I look forward to getting to know our clients, as well as bringing in new ones, over the coming months.”
