Moore Thompson sponsor Posh victory
In September Moore Thompson chartered accountants were once again on the winning side when they sponsored Peterborough United’s home match against Burnley FC. Moore Thompson’s sponsorship was obviously a lucky charm for “The Posh” as they ran out 2-1 winners thanks to two goals from new signing Emile Sinclair. |

The sponsorship package included the firm’s logo displayed on the front cover of the match day programme and a half page advert, while recognition of Moore Thompson’s sponsorship was announced over the London Road stadium’s tannoy system during the match.
The package also included a three-course carvery meal, a tour of the stadium and dressing room, and corporate box facilities for the firm and invited guests and clients.
Before the match Moore Thompson clients Neil Holmes of Woodcock Holmes Estate Agents and Jack McCarten of Resource Engineering Supplies Limited had the proud honour of leading out the teams onto the pitch.
The team from Moore Thompson and their guests also met Posh director of football and famous former manager Barry Fry who presented the group with a signed shirt.
Managing Partner Mark Hildred said: “It was a wonderful occasion and great to see Moore Thompson play a part in the continuing success story at London Road.
“Staff from the firm and our invited clients had a fabulous day out and to cap it off Posh even won! We’re beginning to think our sponsorship is a lucky charm!”
Back in March, Moore Thompson sponsored Boston United’s home match with Nantwich Town, which The Pilgrims won 5-0.
