Spalding accountancy technician, Nicola Dickson, has been named student of the year after completing her professional qualifications.
Nicola, who works for Moore Thompson Accountants, was nominated for the accolade by tutors at Anglia Accountancy Training, who ran her course.
She was praised for her intelligence, the impeccable presentation of her assignments and her thorough dedication to her work.
Nicola, who is still waiting for her final exam results, said: "It was a total surprise but I’m so pleased. It is brilliant that after so much studying my hard work has been recognised in this way.”
Moore Thompson’s managing partner, Mark Hildred, said he was delighted with the news.
“Nicola has put in a lot of effort to gaining her qualifications, and this has been reflected by this honour. She is a very dedicated member of our team and we are all very proud of her here.”
