Lincolnshire based accountants Moore Thompson are hosting an evening at Octavia Hill’s Birthplace House to celebrate their recent merger with Stephenson Smart, Wisbech. The evening will comprise of a museum tour and a discussion about the merger allowing guests to find out about Moore Thompson’s enhanced offerings to clients across Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
The museum at Wisbech is the birthplace of Octavia Hill, a humanitarian and social reformer. Hill, born in 1938, was the pioneer of affordable housing and welfare for city inhabitants. She also co-founded The National Trust. The building dates back to 1740’s and is a Grade II listed building.
The event takes place between 5:30 and 7:30 pm on 2nd July 2008. Refreshments will be served to guests, who will have the opportunity to meet members of the firm, and also new contacts from local businesses.
