New Faces At Moore Thompson
Lincolnshire based firm of accountants Moore Thompson has continued its expansion with an influx of new staff. The firm welcomed eleven new members recently, at all levels of the practice across its three offices at Wisbech, Spalding and Market Deeping.
Chris Wright joins the firm as a partner at Wisbech, bringing Moore Thompson’s partner total to nine. Chris, like many of the new members of staff, has moved to the firm as a result of the merger in Wisbech with local accountancy practice Stephenson Smart and Co.
The audit and accounts division has had a boost at senior level from the staff intake, with Matt Storey and Mick Clarke both taking on the role of audit and accounts senior in Spalding, while Michelle Cozens joins the Wisbech office as an audit and accounts manager. The firm also benefits from two new semi senior accountants; Cheryl Chapman and Andrew Rivett.
As part of Moore Thompson’s ongoing commitment to training and lifelong learning and development, many of the new recruits are working towards formal accounting qualifications with the UK’s leading accounting institutions. Lucy Robinson joins as a trainee ACCA accountant, while Tracey Harris, Rebecca Roberts and Lisa Tomlinson are all AAT trainees.
Finally, the Wisbech office is pleased to welcome Julie Malkin as a receptionist and secretary.
Managing partner Mark Hildred comments: “We are delighted to welcome all of the new faces to the various divisions and offices of Moore Thompson. Our recent merger process and ongoing expansion are all contributing to the enhancement of the highest quality services we strive to offer our clients.”
