New Staff Join Accountancy Team
Accountancy firm Moore Thompson, which has a substantial client base in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, has welcomed 11 new faces to its team.
The firm, which has branches in Spalding, Wisbech and Market Deeping has strengthened its audit/accounts team at the Spalding office with a series of new appointments, including Lesley Stephen-Simms as accounts senior.
She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and has many years of experience in the preparation of incomplete records and accounts.
Also joining the accounts team is Matthew Upex, who is studying for his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) membership, and has particular expertise in VAT and accounts for limited and unincorporated businesses.
Other new recruits to the audit/accounts team are Tony Wejknis, audit and accounts senior, and trainee AAT accountants, Rachel Hastings, Emma Flowers and Nicola Dickson.
Philip Venn also joins the Spalding team as a senior tax accountant. He specialises in different aspects of personal taxation, including people with substantial investment portfolios and property income and death and estate returns.
Clive Himsworth joins Moore Thompson’s Market Deeping office operation as trainee AAT accountant and the firm also welcomes Margarette Noy, payroll/bookkeeping administrator, and Mark Yarham, a member of the ACCA, as an accounts senior. They have joined the firm following its takeover of Emmerson’s accountants in Market Deeping.
