As part of its ongoing commitment to expansion accountants Moore Thompson has welcomed nearly a dozen new staff members to its offices across the East of England.

At its practice in Spalding, trainee accountant Joe Dickinson and part-qualified accountant Jordan Wingert have joined the team, along with Robert Hutchinson who is the latest member of the practice’s tax team. All will continue their training at the firm in the months and years to come.

Rachael Stevenson also joins as a trainee in the firm’s ever-expanding payroll bureau in Spalding.

A familiar face has also recently re-joined the firm, with payroll administrator Elsa Seale returning to the firm’s Wisbech office.

Moore Thompson has also welcomed new recruits Lydia Woods and Jon Barnes to its Market Deeping office. The same office has also seen the appointment of Abbie Spinks, who, when not dealing with accounts targets, is making her mark as a member of Great Britain’s archery team, having become European silver medallist in July this year.

Meanwhile, the firm’s Wisbech office has welcomed Jack Cartwright as a part-qualified accountant, along with James Huggins who joins the accounts team as a trainee.

Janet Brown has also joined Moore Thompson in the newly created role of manager for the firm’s Grant and Funding Services team.

The new post will see Janet researching available grant funding in both the UK and EU, reviewing fund applications on behalf of clients and funding bodies, as well as managing EU project financial claims.

As an experienced researcher and bid writer, Janet has a successful track record in bidding for and securing grants, having secured considerable funding for a range of projects including a community park, care for the homeless, support for carers as well as projects involving SMEs and sports organisations.

Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, has extended a warm welcome to all of the new staff who joined the top 100 accountancy practice.

“Our firm is continuing to experience strong growth and we are constantly on the lookout for new talented professionals and passionate people to join us,” said Mark.

“I would like to congratulate all of those who have started working and training at our various offices. I look forward to hearing about their success in the months to come.”

Moore Thompson’s sister financial services firm, MT Financial Management has also recently welcomed Louise Green and Hannah Watkins as administrators.
