Staff from Moore Thompson gave Santa a run for his money in December, by delivering a package of gifts to children at Pilgrim Hospital.
Staff, friends and a few members of the public, who had heard about Moore Thompson’s call for presents, joined in the gift giving and went with them to the hospital in Boston.
A range of festive favourites were handed out to the children, who were aged from just one day old up to 16 years old, who would be in hospital on Christmas Day.
The presents were donated to Ward Sister Margaret Goodley, who was extremely grateful for the generosity shown by the firm.
Emma Wilson, a trustee of the Moore Thompson Charity Fund CIO who helped organise the day, said: “We were completely blown away with the amount of gifts we received for the children at Pilgrim Hospital, as were the staff we presented them to.
“I would like to thank all the staff and those who responded to our call for gifts so generously. The presents given to the children made a massive difference and really brightened up Christmas for them.”
The Moore Thompson Charity Fund CIO is well-known for its support of local causes and has spent the year raising money for Lives and Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
