I qualified as a chartered accountant in Manchester in 1975 and moved to Spalding in March 1979, becoming a partner with Stephenson, Smart & Co, a predecessor to Moore Thompson, later the same year. I have worked with a broad spectrum of local businesses and have responsibility for a number of major clients. I am also a director of our IT company, MT Computer Consultancy Limited.
