Some of the East of England’s most prominent business leaders and professionals have been invited to take part in a free tax conference hosted by leading accountants Moore Thompson.

The firm, which has offices in Spalding, Market Deeping and Wisbech, will be lending a helping hand with tax to the region’s business community at the event, which will include talks from the firm’s partners and high profile speakers.

The annual Tax Conference will be held at the South Holland Centre 23 Market Place, Spalding, PE11 1SS on Tuesday 29 November 2016 from 11:30am.

This event hopes to bring clarity to the UK’s changing tax regime with clear and concise presentations geared to helping business owners and professionals manage their tax effectively.

The highlight of the event will be a talk from leading tax expert Giles Mooney a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, who has been involved in UK tax training for more than two decades.

Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Over the last few years the government has introduced a number of changes to the UK tax regime that affect businesses and their owners.

“Our annual tax conference aims to provide some clarity to the situation in order to help individuals manage their tax affairs in an efficient and compliant manner.”
