Bolster your green credentials with an EV infrastructure grant!

The number of electric cars on UK roads continues to rise substantially each year – with many businesses offering them as an additional incentive for staff.

However, while many of your customers and staff may be switching to electric vehicles (EVs), is your business ready to serve their needs?

The EV infrastructure grant, launched in September last year, covers up to 75 per cent of the cost of installing the infrastructure needed for chargepoints to operate and for future chargepoints to be installed within small-to-medium-sized businesses – as well as the cost of any chargepoints installed.

Through this generous Government grant your business could enjoy:

  • £350 per chargepoint socket installed
  • £500 per parking space enabled with supporting infrastructure

To qualify the installed infrastructure must support at least five parking spaces with at least one working chargepoint.

This funding is available to SMEs that have:

  • No more than 249 employees;
  • Registered with Companies House; or
  • Registered for VAT.

If they are not registered at either, they are not eligible for this grant.

Only infrastructure installers claim the grant on behalf of their customers.
