Charity announces £30,000 grants for arts & education initiatives in England and Wales
Renowned grant-making charity Didymus has announced its latest round of grant applications for charities and Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) based in England and Wales.
The grants, which can amount to £10,000 annually for up to three years, aim to bolster projects that champion social inclusion through the arts and education.
Key objectives of the grant
Didymus is keen on supporting initiatives that:
- Strengthen the capacity and resilience of smaller charities
- Strategically plan for the future and pioneer new initiatives
- Implement specific projects that have a positive impact on individuals’ lives
Utilisation of the grant
The funds from the grant can be allocated for:
- Capital projects, which include building renovations or equipment acquisition
- Revenue costs, covering staffing, training, and marketing expenses
- Core funding, assisting charities with their routine operational costs
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the Didymus grant, charities must follow the below prerequisites:
- Must have been registered with the UK Charity Commission for a minimum of three years.
- Must be situated in England or Wales.
- Should be actively working to promote social inclusion via the arts and education.
- Should report an annual income ranging between £20,000 and £1 million.
Application deadline
Charities and CIOs interested in taking this opportunity will need to apply before noon on 31 August 2023.
