Moore Thompson expands service offering with important new appointment
Top 100 accountancy firm Moore Thompson is offering a new grant service to clients, which has been made possible with the appointment of an experienced Grant Services Manager.
Janet Brown has joined the firm to assist it with the launch of its new Grand and Funding Services, which will assist clients in the public and private sector.
Janet is experienced in working with a varied client base, including local authorities, charities, SMEs and multi-agency partnerships both in the UK and Europe.
She is an accomplished researcher and bid writer, with a long track record in securing grants – attracting considerable funding to support local businesses and communities.
With more than seven years of experience she has assisted with the implementation of a number of large developments, including a £2.2 million government funded project.
She will be working alongside Moore Thompson’s existing team to identify potential opportunities for clients in this area and assisting them with the preparation of bids and tenders.
This new service will particularly be aimed at Moore Thompson’s clients who are looking to expand their export network, recruit more staff and launch new products or those who are preparing for significant capital spending.
Speaking about her appointment as Grant Services Manager, Janet said: “More and more businesses these days could benefit from grant funding and yet very few explore this area in much depth, as they are often concerned about the difficult processes involved with securing investment in this area.
“I hope my appointment will prove useful to those wishing to take advantage of the opportunities on offer, many of whom have struggled in the past with tough the research and procedures required.”
Moore Thompson already offers a wide range of services to clients ranging from day-to-day bookkeeping through to complex tax planning and financial advice through its sister firm MT Financial Management.
