Gemma Frost, a junior member of staff at accountancy firm Moore Thompson, has been recognised as the Anglia Professional Training Learner of the Year at an awards ceremony hosted by Peterborough Regional College.
Gemma, who has recently completed her AAT qualification with the firm, was selected by her tutors at the college for the award having shown high levels of dedication to learning.
In presenting the award to Gemma, the college said: “Gemma has been through a period of real self-discovery. She has come to recognise the true extent of her own abilities and has been committed to completing her AAT qualification to the highest standard.
“Gemma has been a humble leader and staunch supporter to her peers throughout her Level 3 and Level 4 apprenticeships with us and has maintained a real ‘can-do’ attitude.”
Speaking about her success at the awards, Gemma said: “I am delighted that the college has decided to recognise my achievements in this way.
“Studying towards my exams, while working at Moore Thompson has been a rewarding challenge and I have to thank my colleagues and the Partners at the firm for their ongoing support.”
