Moore Thompson presents two charities with donations

Moore Thompson’s own in-house charity was delighted to hand over to sizeable donations to two very worthy causes recently.

During the past 12 months, the Moore Thompson Charitable Trust raised more than £3,600 through a number of charity events and sponsored activities.

Cancer Research and the Princes Trust benefited from the fundraising drive, each receiving around £1,330 from the Trust, which will be used to support the aims and objectives of each of the organisations.

The money was handed over to fundraising staff from each chosen charity by the trustees of Moore Thompson’s Trust.

Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “I can’t think of two charities more deserving of the money we raised during this past year and all of the staff are absolutely delighted to see the money benefiting causes close to our heart.

“We hope to be able to match, if not beat, last year’s fundraising target and we are already planning a number of events this year to raise money for good causes and we are extremely grateful to all our clients and professional colleagues who so generously support us.”

The Moore Thompson Charitable Fund CIO was officially launched in 2014 with the aim of fundraising to support good causes locally, regionally and nationally.

It is led by a board of trustees made up of staff members from the firm’s offices in Spalding, Wisbech and Market Deeping and from its associate companies MT Financial Management Ltd and MT Computer Consulting Ltd.
