East-of England-based Chartered Accountants Moore Thompson are to test the minds of people in Spalding with a quiz night to raise money for their own charitable foundation.
Following on from the success of a similar night held last November, the firm hope to raise a substantial sum of money for The Moore Thompson Charity Fund, an in-house organisation that provides support and donations to a number of local and national charities.
The night, due to be held on 29 May at Spalding Rugby Club, includes a barbeque and a raffle, as well as a large cash prize for the winning team. The event is open to staff, family and friends of the firm, who will be battling it out to be crowned victors.
Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Everyone is really looking forward to taking part in the quiz. I have already seen a number of teams coming together and swatting up for the event.
“I hope this event is able to raise even more money than our previous quiz last year, which contributed £300 to the Moore Thompson Charitable Fund.”
The Moore Thompson Charitable Fund was officially launched in 2014 and is led by a board of trustees made up of staff members from the firm’s three offices. It plans to hold a number of events during the year to raise money for a number of good causes.
