Moore Thompson to share accountancy expertise at UK’s biggest farming shows

East of England-based accountancy firm Moore Thompson has begun making final preparations for their attendance at this year’s LAMMA show – the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and services event.

Due to take place on Wednesday, 18 and Thursday, 19 January, the show at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, regularly attracts more than 45,000 farmers from across the country and overseas who come to hear from the 900 exhibitors, which include Moore Thompson.

The firm has hosted a stand at the show for the last three years and 2017 promises to be one of the biggest and most important yet.

As one of the UK’s leading agricultural accountancy specialists Moore Thompson’s experience team will be on hand to meet visitors at stand 725 in hall 7.

Based in the heart of one of the UK’s largest farming communities, Moore Thompson has a long tradition of providing forward-thinking accountancy advice to agricultural and horticultural businesses.

Andrewspalding_partner_heskin_colour Heskin, a specialist in the finances of farmers and a partner at Moore Thompson, said: “The last year has created a significant amount of uncertainty in rural communities, particularly in regards to farm finance post-Brexit.

“We have already had a number of clients come to us for support and advice regarding future strategy and we will be at LAMMA on both days to pass our expertise on to the wider farming sector.

“We are really looking forward to once again meeting rural businesses at this show, so we would encourage everyone to come and find us to find out more about how we can assist them.”
