Talented local accountants take on the Eggheads

A team of accountants from one of the East of England’s leading firms Moore Thompson is due to appear on hit BBC quiz program Eggheads.

Consisting of Philip Bryan, Michael Sellars, Gemma Frost, Carl Knights and their friend from Spalding Club, Trevor Hargrave, the ‘The Number Crunchers’ are due to be featured on the popular BBC Two show on 29 September at 6pm.

Viewers will then be able to find out how the local team of accountants did against the Eggheads and whether they took home the grand prize.

Speaking about his experience on the show, Philip said: “The whole team had a wonderful time filming with the Eggheads, but I won’t reveal if we beat them. People will have to tune in to find out whether we won.”

Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Everyone in the office is really looking forward to watching the episode to see how the team did on the day.

“As experienced accountants they have expertise in a broad range of subjects, but the Eggheads are tough opponents, so it should be exciting to watch.”
