In partnership with Innovate UK, grants of up to £50,000 will be given to chosen applicants with a registered micro or small business within the creative industries.
This scheme aims to help business innovation for the creative industries with a package designed to help these businesses grow.
To apply, you must:
- be a part of the creative industries or have a proposal to support the creative industries
- show evident advantages for the creative industry in the UK and the whole UK economy
- be focused on a specific prospect and the innovation you are proposing to address it with
- show the effect that support will have on the growth plan of your business
The scheme encourages ideas and proposals that will benefit a wider creative industry or region such as creating new revenue streams in the music sector, technologies that could benefit the publishing sector or ideas to transform the fashion and textiles sector growth.
This funding scheme is aimed at providing end-to-end innovation support for potential businesses within the creative sectors and should accelerate and amplify their process from ideation to realisation.
The businesses who succeed in this competition will get access to great support which includes creative mentor networks, investor accelerator funding and inward investment programmes.
This scheme offers a great opportunity to any business that is eligible.
To clarify, you must have a project that can start by 1 June 2023 and end by 30 November 2023, carry out all the work in the UK and exploit the results in the UK.
The competition opened on 5 December and will close on 15 February 2023.
