Our next meeting in June will feature Rachel Garner from Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce. Rachel will look at the work of the Chamber in the local area and the benefits of being a member.
The meeting will once again take place at Riverview Café at Hills Department Store, 18-19 Broad Street, Spalding PE11 1TB (please us the main entrance in Broad Street) on Thursday, 7th June 2018 at 7am, with a fee of £8 to cover the cost of the breakfast provided.
If you wish to attend this meeting, please reply by Friday, 25th May 2018 with your full name, job title and who you work for, as well as details of any guest(s) you would like to bring along.
If you book a place and are then unable to attend, please contact me on 01775 711333 as soon as possible. If you do not inform me of your non-attendance, then we shall invoice you for the catering costs that we have incurred on your behalf.
There is no annual or joining fee. £7.50 of the attendance fee covers the cost of the excellent breakfast provided, with the remaining 50p going into the Spalding Business Club pot to pay for future speakers’ breakfasts.
Attendees are being reminded that if they want anything additional or different with their breakfast they should speak to the ladies in the kitchen prior to the next meeting.
Likewise if there is anything that they do not want on their plate, this should also be mentioned to the ladies on the day who will happily oblige. The ladies in the kitchen have always offered to give us what we want, so please do ask them.
The club is run on a not-for-profit basis and provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere in which to make contacts and, hopefully, refer business locally. You are welcome to bring any literature about your business.
You are also more than welcome to bring along a friend or colleague who may be interested in meeting new contacts.
The Spalding Business Club was created to help businesses develop new contacts and to pass information between those contacts and their clients.
We are in the process of looking for more speakers for 2018. Should you be interested in doing a presentation, which may sell you and your business or be on any subject of your choosing, then please contact Ken Maggs of Moore Thompson. The idea of inviting various speakers is to create group conversation and get to know each other a little better.
Our meetings are informal and there is no referral requirement or any annual fees, just payment for the wonderful breakfast.
