Having graduated from Hull University, Heather joined for Mazars, a top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants, based at their Chilterns office, on a graduate training scheme in 1995 and fully qualified as a Chartered Accountant in December 1998.

The following August Heather joined W J Ground and Co as manager within their accounts and audit department, where she worked until the merger with Moore Thompson in 2003.

Following the merger with Moore Thompson, she worked as an audit, accounts and tax manager at Moore Thompson’s Spalding office, until becoming a Partner in the firm in January 2017.

Heather is a member of both the ICAEW and CIOT. She works closely with her clients to offer appropriate tailored advice and support on a wide range of business and taxation issues.

Heather is able to advise clients on a wide range of areas including:

• Taxation compliance and planning
• Audit and accounts
• Business plans
• Budgeting and finance

The key priorities for Heather are getting to know the client and their business, and using her professional knowledge and expertise to help them to improve performance, profitability and tax efficiency.
