Moore Thompson looks to the future with the latest wave of Associate promotions

In order to power the growth of Moore Thompson, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Michelle Cozens and Jacob Parkin to Associate.

The appointment of Michelle and Jacob follows on from the recent news that we are now part of the Sumer Group and demonstrates the ongoing investment in our team.

The promotion of Michelle and Jacob reflects their dedication, hard work and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional expertise.

Both Michelle and Jacob have been integral members of our team, demonstrating outstanding technical proficiency and a deep commitment to the success of their clients.

Michelle Cozens has more than 20 years of experience in the profession and joined the firm in 2008 after the merger with Stephenson Smart & Co.

She has since built a reputation for her expertise in income tax planning, CGT and trust administration.

She works closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, including agricultural businesses, providing succession planning and IHT mitigation strategies.

Meanwhile, Jacob Parkin joined the firm six years ago, bringing considerable experience with him.

His expertise spans corporate tax, VAT and succession planning, where he helps a wide range of organisations, including many charities.

His proactive approach to business advisory has earned him the trust of numerous clients.

Mark Hildred, our Managing Partner, said: “We are thrilled to announce Michelle and Jacob’s well-deserved promotion to Associate.

“Both have shown exceptional dedication to our clients and have been instrumental in maintaining the high standards of service that we are known for.

“Their hard work, expertise and client-focused approach exemplify the values that we hold dear and we look forward to their continued success and contribution to the growth of the firm.”
