Moore Thompson plants 100 trees to celebrate its 100-year roots
One of the East of England’s leading accountancy firms, Moore Thompson, is marking its 100th anniversary with a gesture that gives back to communities and the planet.
It has committed to planting 100 trees across the UK. One for every year it has proudly served the region’s individuals, families, and businesses.
The trees are being planted in partnership with Carma, an organisation that supports former military servicemen and servicewomen by involving them in environmentally meaningful work.
Each tree planted represents a year of community, progress, and growth for the practice, as well as a long-term investment in sustainability.
Mark Hildred, Managing Partner at Moore Thompson, said: “Reaching 100 years in business is an incredible milestone, and we wanted to celebrate it in a way that reflects our values, rooted in community and forward-thinking.
“Planting these trees with Carma is more than a symbolic gesture. It’s a lasting investment in people and our countryside, and a thank you to all those who’ve supported us over the years.
“Just like our own firm, we hope these trees will grow and help the communities in which they are planted, thriving for 100 or more years as well.”
This tree planting initiative is just one of many exciting activities taking place throughout 2025 as part of Moore Thompson’s centenary celebrations.
Founded in 1925, Moore Thompson has grown to become a trusted name in accounting, tax, and business advisory services across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and beyond.
Now celebrating a century in business, the firm is using the milestone to not only reflect on its past but also to give back and look forward.
The firm is also running monthly competitions via social media and its website, giving clients and followers the chance to win some incredible prizes throughout the year.
